• Hello – my site is somehow set to open a new tab anytime the user clicks on a link (be it a menu label or link in text). I am sure there is a way to disable this (and allow the user to select whether they open their own tab) but I cannot figure it out. Does anyone have a simple solution for me? (I am certain I clicked some button that I now cannot find…)

    Thanks!

When you are on the menu page in wordpress dashboard, there is a Screen Options at the right top corner. Click it and select the ‘Link Target’ in ‘Advance menu properties’. You will see the link target dropdown in the menu item below. Select open in new tab for your menu item

Thank you for the help – I found the “Link Target” in “Advance menu properties” but I don’t see any link target dropdown… I wonder if something in WordPress is broken?
