    Hi there,

I really like your plugin but I am running into a small problem.

I use the shortcode in buddypress group (I have created a group’s page using BuddyPress Groups Extras plugin), but it shows the whole media library.
I have followed the instructions carefully and changed several settings to test the problem. Uploading directly to the page does not solve the issue.

Other then this the shortcode works perfect and it sends the email correctly, but I really need only to show the selected images for the eCards.

Really looking forward to have this solved!

    Kind Regards,
    Isra

  • Hello,
I paid for this plug in and was supposed to get support for this plug in. However the creators are impossible to reach and do not provide any support. Unfortunately, I think they have sneaked in the back doors of WordPress because they know how to code and try to profit from their know how!

I discovered that you must not upload images thru the media library section but drag it into the card, if that helps…
Do you know where to put the counter short code?

    Best

    Hi Kathleen,

    Thank you for replying!
Interesting what you mention, especially after trying this plugin I had an “unknown” registration to my website that seemed more of a spammer then a fan.. so to say.

I have deleted the plugin and checking for other options..

    Kind regards,
    Isra

    Hi Isra

I had 3 unknown users register for my site since I answered your post

    Interesting!

Buddy Press groups is for doing what? Doesn’t the roles on WordPress do the trick. I am trying to figure this out for my site where I would like artists to upload pics and manage a portfolio page.

    Hi Kathleen,

With Buddypress Groups you can organize your members by specific interest. Example “Fine Arts” or “Photography”. This helps you and members stay organized (sort of ??

WordPress roles has more to do with what you allow your members to do. Example a subscriber can interact with your buddypress components, but unlike author they can not publish a post. You could use a role editor to have further control over this aspect of WP.

In your case, if you use a plugin like rtMedia your members have the ability to upload media through their profiles and create albums. If you would like this to be more public, you can have rtMedia active in groups as well and have members upload their work there. In this later option you would need to make the choice of either creating 1 group for 1 member (that then is the group mod/admin) or create various groups (subject related like photography, music, etc.)

There are a lot of different ways that you can go about and mostly depends on your theme options, your desired plugins and your vision on website “logic”. If you make a website for others (users = artists) you should keep in mind that it should be easy to use, clear and user-friendly.

Hope this gives you some tips to work with. If you care to have more tips or conversation, you can also contact me through my profile ??

    Make it pretty!!

    P.s.:

If you’ve paid for the plugin and not getting support you may try to dispute the payment if it was done through paypal. In this way you can demand your money back.

Giving this plugin a bad rating is also another way to let other WP users know this is a bogus product which seems to attract spammers to websites that installed this plugin.
