All media uploads are broken?

  • I have just upgraded my WordPress installation, installed a new theme and am in the process of trying to populate/customize it.

    Whenever I try to upload new images (media), they upload, but then show a little borken photos icon.

    What could I be doing wrong? If I cannot upload images, I cannot build my portfolio site!
