Don’t know why it’s not working on your site. Maybe you need to do the setup again. But it should work fine with the current setup.
Or you can revert back to the previous version.

The same thing is happening on my site.

I changed to the older version and it is now working properly.

Looks like the recent update is not working on users website. It was working fine when I tested with both existing and new WordPress setup.
I’ll wait until few more people report that it’s not working, then revert back if necessary.
But the sad part is most users don’t even care to report the problems. Rating the plugin is a different story which users never liked.

It started to work again this morning. However, I had to go through every page and invert the selection, which was quite annoying.

I just noticed the same on my site, yorklgbthistory.org.uk. However I realised I no longer need to have different menu items on different pages, so I’ve disabled the plug in. Thought I’d report the behaviour anyway to add to the numbers.

I noticed that a new update was available for the plugin, but just so you know I don’t intend on activating the update as I’m not sure if it will cause a new problem or not.

I had this same issue along with a PHP error with 1.6.2, The latest version 1.6.3 seems to have fixed both bugs.

Hi, hidding menu items is not working correctly. When I selected menu for editing page menu items, then all other menus on the site disappear, and when I selected the second menu – in this menu, items where not saved as checked and of course first one is no more displayed on the site ?? I dont’t know if it is related to that problem but sounds quite familiar.

Same problem here. (Hiding menu items on specific pages is not working.) Just realised it is not working as it was. Plugin is very crucial for our page to work properly.

So I also got back to 1.6, works properly again.

    Thanks anyway, great plugin!

Same problem here – just did the WP update and this plugin is failing

Have you tried setting things again?

I am having the same problem – I will try going back to previous version

I’m having the same issue. I tried inverting the menu selection and publishing the page, but nothing has changed yet. I thought it may have been my browser history/cookies, but this thread makes me think otherwise. I’m somewhat new to wordpress… If I revert back to the older plugin version, will I have to start from scratch with the menus? I’ve never reverted back to an older version. Thank you! – Tori

I figured out what the problem was. Not this most recent update, but the previous update which caused this problem updated some global settings for the plugin.

If you go into installed plugins then click on settings you might notice that under Items default visibility has been changed to “hide all”. You’ll have to change it back to “show all”. That should fix it.

In the future when you put out updates for the plugin, please don’t have the update force changes on the global settings.
