I have been testing this for a couple of days and nothing works. I have turned off re-chaptcha and still every test contact form entered ends up in my spam folder in WordPress. None of the 5 tests have been sent to me in email. When I approve the comments in my spam folder, my contact page says I have 5 comments, but none of the messages get through to me.

    Hello,
I am sorry you are experiencing these problems. The plugin uses Akismet to decide whether a comment is spam and if it gets a positive response from Akismet the message goes to the WP spam folder. Even if you mark it as not spam, the message will not be sent to you, but you will be able to see what your enquirer wrote at least.

Unfortunately the only way you can stop Akismet filtering contact form messages is to disable Akismet on your whole site, which is probably not what you want to do.

I just sent a test message to you, did that go to spam?

Do all blog posts comments go to spam too?

    Thanks, Meg

    Hi Meg,
The only other comments that are going to spam are actually spam, so I definitely don’t want to disable Akismet. Sorry that I had delete your plugin and move on to another solution.
