Hello,

I was updating WordPress core and plugins this morning and checking their functionality.

No messages with yahoo.com emails filled in ‘Your Email (required)’ field being delivered to me. Using the latest Contact Form 7.

There is no error given, it reads “Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.” yet none of the yahoo.com emails submitted while testing (neither valid nor bogus one) come though.

There is no problem with gmail.com, verizon.net, hotmail.com submitted emails while testing.

This problem has been seen for hours this morning, it won’t go away.

Could you guys duplicate this problem to see it’s just me or it’s bigger?

I am having the same issue on a site I manage. No emails are showing up in the yahoo.com email account even though it says “Your message was sent successfully”. I added a Mail 2 option to my hotmail address and the mail is delivered just fine to that account…just not the yahoo account.

I’ve been working on trying to figure out a fix for several hours with no luck. ANY information would be greatly appreciated.

You are welcome.

The irony is that all those people who mark this plugin as ‘works’, have no idea that it’s broken.

Unless the developer fixes this issue, those people would never find out that they are running a broken Contact Form 7.

Sorry Guys but I need to give an alternative view to the misinformation (IMHO) presented here.

1. This is NOT a plugin issue. There is nothing the Contact Form 7 plugin or even WordPress can do to fix this.

2. ????This is a Yahoo issue. You can read about what MailChimp thinks of Yahoo’s approach at https://blog.mailchimp.com/tag/dmarc/?utm_source=MonkeyWrench+Newsletter&utm_campaign=60cdb6ad9e-MonkeyWrench_May_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_6f9c46a454-60cdb6ad9e-87036826. Mailchimp definately knows something about sending emails and are not happy with Yahoo’s approach.

3. The plugin WORKS – ??it’s working for me on many different websites and several different servers, but emails from yahoo can be a problem due to Yahoo’s actions. The plugin is NOT broken as suggested in some comments here.

I have no luck to get test email sent to my gmail account. It only briefly work for two days, then not receiving any email. I checked all the steps listed here https://contactform7.com/setting-up-mail/#Contact_Form_7_Email_Issues

I use Attitude theme by Theme Horse.
Can anyone help? Thanks a million!
