My site started out on the Thesis theme, using another WordPress SEO plugin. The site was moved over to the Genesis theme, and we were able to move the meta data for each post along with it… but I have no SEO plugin installed at all now. And when I try to install one, it deletes all data (keywords, meta title, etc.) I’ve entered on previous posts over the years.

Is there a way to install an SEO plugin (preferably the Yoast one) and still keep all of my old meta data? I have over 1000 posts, so I don’t want to go back and have to re-tag every single one.

Any help would be appreciated so much!

Still trying to research this, and I’ve had absolutely no luck so far. Please, any ideas (or even recommendations of someone who might have an answer) would be appreciated!
