    Hi,

I’ve two live projects. Two days ago, I noticed that all my MPG pages throw 404 errors.

I checked your guide “What if my URL is showing a 404?“, but nothing mentioned there seems to be off.

On the back-end, I can see that the URLs are created correctly from the source file. It seems normal, but when you click the links they all throw 404s: Example: example page

I’m on ver. 2.8.16 (Pro, lifetime license), and if I remember correctly, I did update to the latest version shortly before this issue appeared.

    Please advise!

More info: Under the “Logs” tab I see “URL generated in MPG and some page or post slug is equal.” for all pages in my existing projects.

In addition, I created a completely new project for troubleshooting. Same thing, “URL generated in MPG and some page or post slug is equal…”

    Hello @akiikiwporg ,

Thank you for using MPG and apologies for the delayed reply!

I have accessed the sample page but I don’t see any 404 errors on my end. (screenshot)

Are you still encountering issues? If so, try changing the redirect settings in your MPG dashboard > Advanced Settings. (screenshot)

We only had 2 users complaining about a similar issue and after we found the correct setting for their environment it worked.

If that didn’t work either, I see that you mentioned to be using the PRO version, in that case I would kindly ask you to contact us directly here https://store.themeisle.com/contact/. This way we’ll be able to respond quicker and also get more insight on why this issue might be occurring.

Thank you and we’re looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hi @akiikiwporg,

    Thanks for choosing MPG!

In some cases, the 404 errors can be solved by going to the Advanced Settings of the plugin and adding the hook and priority combination that corresponds to your page builder, as advised above the dropdowns.

    I hope this helps!

Also, as you use the Pro version of the plugin, please don’t hesitate to contact us by opening a ticket directly on our site for any other questions you may have in the future. This way we will be able to help you quicker and more efficiently.

    Have a great day!

    Hi,

Thanks. The issue was resolved by changing “template_redirect” to “High” under Advanced Settings > Page Builders Compatibility.

We’re glad to hear it’s solved now, thanks for letting us know!
