All my categories disappeared

  • Hi there,

    As of today, all categories of my posts have disappeared. When I click on the drop down menu under Posts, only my default category and Uncategorized are displayed. If I deactivate Polylang everything is visible again. Did something go wrong with the last update or what is the reason for this all of a sudden?

    I’ve forgotten to mention that all posts that are assigned to a non-standard language disappeared in the backend. Only the posts of the standard language are visible.

    Did you translate the categories?
    I only see the categories that are in the chosen language.
    And I find this very useful, so I can name the English and the German category the same – but in English I only can choose the English category.
