• Hello, fairly new website. I had many posts ranked in the top 50, dozens in the top 20, and even a few in the top 10. Suddenly one day they all disappeared.

All the posts are still indexed on google, I don’t have any manual or security issues on search console. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled all my plugins. I’ve tried multiple health/troubleshooting/repair plugins and nothing works. I’ve waited about a month to see if the rankings would come back and they haven’t.

I’ve tried researching everything and nothing seems to work. There has to be a massive error on my site somewhere where I can’t find. Any help/suggestions would be great.

  • I too am experiencing the same problem.
I don’t know if it will help, but the first is a change in Google’s algorithm.
The same problem occurs all over the world.

The second is in ‘Index’ > ‘Page’ in Google Search Console.
Are there any ‘404 pages’ and is the properly registered content indexed? This is to check whether or not.

I can’t be 100% correct, so please use this as a reference.

i have reviewed your website looks like you have posted just to get backlink, as site is showing self hosted google search engine. i cant see any rankable content.

Is there some technical error(s) with your website that we may help you resolve?

If so, please provide the details of the specific technical problem so we can help you resolve it. And please provide your real website address as well. If indeed recipes.com is your address (I doubt this is your site), then that’s not a WordPress site.

If you’re not seeing any technical problems on your site or in Google Search Console and this is just about the ranking, then I’ll recommend you seek help from SEO experts in an SEO discussion forum.

There has to be a massive error on my site somewhere where I can’t find.

Any such technical error should be reported in GSC. If there’s no error reported in GSC, then it’s down to Google’s ranking algo, and there’s not a whole lot we can do to help you with that here.

    Good luck!

It’s Ohsomanyrecipes.com. Not sure why it posted the wrong site.

It’s a technical error, but I have no idea how to identify what it is. It’s 100% not an SEO issue.

I took a look at your site, and I don’t see any issues from the technical point of view. Again, any technical issues Google encounters should be reported in your Google Search Console, and will likely affect crawling and indexing.

This seems to be a just ranking though.

It’s 100% not an SEO issue.

Well, I’ll call anything — be it crawling errors, website speed, content quality, algorithm changes, whatever — that the affects search performance of my website an “SEO issue”. But to each their own.
