This afternoon, when I was publishing a post to my site, I discovered that all my images were gone! When I visited my media library in my dashboard, I saw that it was marked empty and says “No Files Are Found.” All I have done, between now and just before the issue appeared, (today) was publish a guest post. And the person wanted me to do the links in a certain way, with certain anchor texts. I first noticed the issue when her photo, which I upload yesterday, showed just an empty placeholder. And I removed the placeholder and meant to add her photo in its desired state, as an image. THAT is when I found that my entire media library is totally empty. I tried clearing my browser cache and cookies. I purged my site cache. I contacted my web host. They can’t figure out the issue. All my images show up as placeholders on my site.

    Hi @ldesherl !

Jetpack doesn’t have any functionality to empty your Media Library.

Please be sure your accounts are safe by changing your site account passwords, and make sure you don’t have any user accounts that shouldn’t be there on your Users -> All Users page on your dashboard.

I can see images on your site today, so I hope you were able to sort out the issue.

Yes we, my web host and I, were able to resolve the issue. I did not think it was a Jetpack issue but at the time, I wanted to know what could be happening.
