All my plugins just deactivated?

I tried to make my wp-content folder writeable and then all of a sudden all my plugins deactivated and I’m getting error messages in the plugin control admin window:

Warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/passinre/public_html/wp-admin/plugins.php on line 9

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/passinre/public_html/wp-admin/plugins.php:9) in /home/passinre/public_html/wp-admin/plugins.php on line 16

What the heck is going on? Any ideas? the writeable thing may be completely unrelated I guess. Grrrrr…..

it appears I can only have one plug in active at once? huhn?
