All my wordpress blogs on 8 different domains are acting crazy

    Hello,

    I am really getting a little frustrated at the moment. A few hours ago everything was going great at one of my domains and then just a few moments ago the widgets stopped working. I can go to my widget page, but can’t move anything. Nothing at all on that page. Also, under the section on the dash for wordpress development blog it just keeps saying loading… and it is doing that as well for Other WordPress News as it’s also saying loading….

    Also when I go to edit a post or create a new post it won’t let me do anything with my tags. The tag page works fine, but the section to input your tags doesn’t let me do anything. I have tried everything such as reseting the server, shutting off plugins and turning them back on, reinstalling the wordpress software, themes, updates and nothing is working. All of this just started happenening about 3 hours ago and no I didn’t do any html modding or anything. Just out of the blue

    Please help as this is my business and how I make a living.

  • Do you have an URL?

    You haven’t switched off javascript in your browser by any chance have you? The functions you are having trouble with all look to be heavily dependent on javascript.

    I have discovered something. It appears when I use Internet Explorer everything works fine. All of these problems are happening in Firefox. Any ideas how to fix this as I use firefox most of the time?

    Check your FF settings to make sure that JavaScript is allowed per apljdi’s advice above.

    Okay here is the update. I know for a fact the brand new update of wordpress isn’t working right with Firefox for some reason. The wigdets and tags work fine on Internet Explorer, but don’t work at all in firefox.

    Now I went to my parents house and tried it on their computer. I tried my dads blog on firefox which is the last version of firefox and everything works great. I also went to a friends house and tried his blog and he is having the same problem with the newest version of firefox and wordpress.

    I have checked my firefox settings and javascript is allowed and turned on. What is the next step.

    I’ve had no trouble with 2.8.6 with Firefox on Linux, Vista, or Mac. There is something going on that isn’t WordPress– maybe a plugin or a javascript library.

    Next step. Install Firebug, turn it on, and load your page. Do you get any errors?

    I am having all sorts of issues with 2.8.6.

    All of my custom queries quit working, all if is home/page includes quit working.
