All of a sudden my "Page Cannot Be Found"

  • Hello, I have been working on my site everyday for the past few weeks. I recently updated my testimonials page with a testimonials plugin. It’s been working perfectly ever since. Today, I logged in and I clicked on the page and it’s saying “Page not found”. I’m stumped. I’ve checked the permalink, the page info itself, everything. I don’t understand why it’s not showing all of a sudden. Every other page is working fine.

    I have a coming soon plugin installed on my site so you won’t be able to see it if I post a link, but if you are an admin, I’m willing to send you my login so you can see it. Hopefully someone has a fix for this, I’m almost done with my redesign and now stupid problems are showing up out of nowhere. Please help.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of your current version of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
