We’ve had a multisite network setup for a few years now and recently one of my admins noticed that all of the subdomain sites are no longer functioning properly. The dashboard is loading upon going to sub.domain.com/wp-admin, but they are loading with the parent (domain.com) dashboard content. It’s like I can no longer access any of the content for any of our subdomains. The URL still shows sub.domain.com/wp-admin, but the content is the dashboard for domain.com/wp-admin.

Has anyone seen something like this before? It’s so strange! I tried restoring to yesterdays database with no luck, so I jumped back to last week and last month etc, still same problem. I have no idea what’s going on here.

    Any thoughts!? Please! Thanks!

Start at the beginning. Turn off all the plugins and see what happens.

Make a list of everything you MIGHT have changed recently (upgrades etc).

Well this won’t be too helpful to anybody else who runs into this problem, but we resolved it. We restored our WP database to last week and since that wasn’t enough to solve the problem, we called up our hosting company and had them restore our entire server to last week as well. Between the 2 restores, everything is back to the way it should be now. Still not sure what happened or how, but glad we got it sorted out, and good luck to anyone in the future who may run into the same/similar problem(s).

I am having the same problem. Did not have a problem months ago.
    Turned off all plugins.
    Made no difference.
Should I call my hosting company and have the restore my DB?
    There is no better solution?

I never found a better solution…No one here seemed to have any ideas either. Sorry!

I have followed all instructions and
I have read this forum and tried all the solutions offered to no avail.
I have look on other boards as well and this issue is still happening
    Every solution offered has failed.
Except for the last post by balla4eva33
I have contacted my provider, NetworkSolutions.

    Is this the only option?
