    Hi everyone:

I’m embarrassed to say that somehow I have managed to break ALL of my themes for one of my websites (the other website is fine). I was having trouble with a theme and I tried to fix it. Now, no matter what I do, no theme that I choose acts right and no theme properly handles it default menus anymore. If you look at the link, you’ll see this is because I also tried to fix the pages. Everything is hopelessly broken. I tried all of the reset plug-ins and none of them would work on my site – NONE of them. This I don’t understand. I tried to manually reset to defaults and I just don’t know what I’m doing.

I thought about deleting the site but the only thing I found that would allow me to do that would also permanently delete my domain and I certainly DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MY DOMAIN or the ability to rebuild this website.

    Please help.

    Thanks so much.

Specifically what did you do here?

I actually ended up chatting with the WordPress help folks and they are AWESOME. My stuff was really broken but the person walked me through to find the problems and help me fix them. I got to them through the blue and white question mark at the bottom right corner of my profile’s My Home page. Keep going through and eventually you’ll find the opportunity to chat. They are really good. Unfortunately, it was a lot and I just can’t tell you what all I had to do to resolve it.

    Good luck.

To be clear, the only chat support we have is over IRC https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/irc-support-channel/

Anything else is not an official support channel and potentially a scam.
