All of the sudden, Blog wont pin

  • I’ve had my blog on wp.org for about 2 months, no issues and today the Pinterest pin botton wont work AND I can’t even pin it by the Add A Pin from my pinterest account. No matter what I try, it won’t work, all of the sudden. I haven’t changed anything and it looks like people could pin this morning and all of the sudden it doesn’t work. I get between 1 and 2 thousand hits a day from pinterest so I am kind of freaking out about lost traffic right now. When I try to pin using pin button it just does nothing.

    When I try to pin by adding the URL from pinterest I get an error window that says, “Can not create pin”

    Any ideas?

  • First, identify what Pinterest plugin you are using and then post in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.

    Do you think it’s the plug in if i get an error message even if I try to pin from pinterest?

    Quite possibly, yes.

    I just read about the attack on godaddy, that seems more likely. I’ll look into that as a possible cause.
