• When accessing WordPress I am unable to view any of my Pages, and as a result, my website is down. This may be the culprit, but just two days ago I went in to my host account (GoDaddy) and changed passwords. I welcome any suggestions.

  • I’m not sure I’m understanding, is your website down currently and inaccessible or are you missing certain data from the pages?

Would love to help but I’m a tidbit confused.

First and foremost, yes, my website is down (www.jimmyparrishonline.com), and, I’m also missing all the pages.

Looks like your site is back up. But I don’t see any pages or a menu for pages. Did you remove the page menu? If not, is the page menu assigned to a menu location?

I did not remove the page menu. I should say, if I did I sure didn’t mean to. Correct tho, the menu is missing as well. I do not know how to properly answer your question, if the page menu is assigned to a menu location.

First, verify that you still have pages.

Second, if you have pages, go to Appearance > Menus and see if your menu still exists. If not, you’ll have to recreate it. If you don’t know how, see this url:

Third, after you create and select the new menu, at the bottom of the menu page you will see theme location checkboxes, often called primary and secondary locations. Check one or the other and see where you menu shows up. If it’s not in the right place, select the other location.

I don’t see that I even have pages.

Do you have a backup of your site? You might have to restore it.

Is it possible you used posts instead of pages to create your site pages? Do you have posts?

I do have a backup (GoDaddy). I’m pretty sure my design guy used pages to create the site, not posts.

Is it possible this may be an administrative type issue? Seeing as how I recently changed my passwords, could it be I’ve been “locked out” as an added security measure by chance? I may be way off here, just a thought.

You can check that by using this part of the Codex.
