I have 144 Flickr album galleries on my publication’s website (BurningHotEvents.com) that are no longer displaying, with no discernable reason. I have provided the link to 1 of many.

There are no errors, making it very difficult to troubleshoot – they simply do not appear any longer. I have tried different browsers and disabling plug-ins.

Are there any current known issues? Would a PHP upgrade have caused this?

UPDATE: I have discovered that all of the Flickr album IDs have changed! When replacing the IDs with the new ones, the galleries work. With 144 albums, that’s quite frustrating! That said, it appears the issue is on Flickr’s end, not with the plugin.

    Hi @kataklizmic,

If you were using v2.2.4 or later and upgraded to the latest version then please refer to this thread:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/errors-after-upgrading-to-2-2-4/#post-14802512

Due to security reasons, I updated some of the latest plugin code accordingly to WordPress guidelines.

I will defiantly help you if you contact me.

    Thanks

Thank you for your reply @farazfrank.

As mentioned in the “UPDATE” section at the bottom of my post, the issue appears to be that Flickr changed the album IDs.

I am on version 2.2.6. Whether I change the shortcodes to use gallery=’old’ or update the album IDs (both options work), I will have to manually update 144 posts unfortunately.

Is there a benefit to using gallery=’old’ over changing the album ID? For example: Will the album ID change again later, and using gallery=’old’ ensures it will work perpetually?

@kataklizmic Yes, you need to add a parameter into the shortcode like that:

    [FAG id=143 gallery='old']

    NOTE
gallery='old': Use this parameter only for the old galleries which are created in version 2.4.4 or later.

Try with one gallery to check it working or not.
If that’s works then need to do it manually in all old galleries once.

If it doesn’t work then it could be another issue, I think.

    Thanks
