All Posts Disappeared

Check your database as posts and pages are kept in the wp_posts table.

Also, you didn’t make changes to wp-config.php did you?

How do I check that? and what do I do?

I didn’t change anything. I couldn’t get posts to upload/publish last night. I would click publish and it would say the post published but it wouldn’t actually publish. In fact the post would stay saved as a draft. Last night all the old posts were there, now this morning, they are all gone per the Dashboard and the site. This all just happened out of the blue.

I checked the data base and all of the posts are there. But how do I fix this problem.

Make sure you have a database backup and then try repairing your database tables.

Also deactivate any plugins.

Thanks Michael…I checked the database and it says that it’s crashed and needs repair. Do you know how I would go about repairing it?

I just tried all that it didn’t help. Is there another possible reason why my posts disappeared after installing news widgest (I deactivated them again). My site is financeoftech.com

I should add that internet explorer claims that there is an error on the page, I am not sure if this is relevant, because even this wordpress forum seems to have errors and it still works.

I removed all the widgets and plugins and reinstalled them, now it works again…
