    I have been having a strange issue where, pretty regularly, like every couple weeks, the plugin will randomly forget all of it’s settings. And then i have to setup the popup again.

    Could you give us more details about the settings that disappear? Is it the targeting, the triggers, or everything?

    Do the popup contents remain?

    So the Title, HTML/Text, Enabled…these all remain. But the Popup Settings: Triggers, Targeting, Display, Close, Advance…all of these settings revert back to default, as if I started a new popup. So then I have to set everything up again.

    That’s certainly unusual. We might need to take a closer look. Could you send us your system info, or any error logs you have at Support Request – Popup Maker?

    I have the exact same problem. And from searching the Internet it seems this is not uncommon. Before I have to look for an alternative for my popup needs, What can be done to stop the triger settings from reseting to default?

    I have a suspicion that it has something to do with updating other plugins, like cache plugins (Flying Press is mine), or theme update. I have noticed it happens sometimes when I make some change to something else, but I still haven’t been able to isolate the issue, it’s pretty random so far…but this issue is very consistent. Happens every couple weeks.

    We’re sorry to hear you’re seeing this issue.

    Can you please provide the following to help us troubleshoot?

    1) Copy/paste any error messages (PHP logs, page errors, or dev tools console logs) you see.

    3) Attach or post screen captures of the issue (including error messages).

    4) Can you head over to your Site Health Info tab (wp-admin/site-health.php?tab=debug), copy the site info and send it to us.

    5) Can you email us a screen capture of your wp-admin > Popup Maker > Settings Misc? Make sure you get the very last setting on that tab. It will look like this https://share.wppopupmaker.com/bLuKWpoK. That setting should be unchecked.

    6) Do you know if you’re running Redis cache on any server? You might need to ask your hosting provider.

    7) Lastly, do you recall the first time you noticed the issue? Did you do a major update to your site or servers around that time?

    Hello, just giving an update, so far this issue has not resurfaced yet, but if it does then I will let you know, thanks.

    Also to answer the Cache/Redis question, yes my site has Object Cache Pro installed, as well as FlyingPress. I don’t see anything in the error logs relating to Popup Maker. That Delete setting in Misc was never checked. When I started this thread, that’s the last time it happened, and yes I am pretty sure I did update some other plugins around that time and all previous times this issue surfaced.
