I’m running WordPress 3.1 Multisite. I installed SlimStat 2.8.6 on my main blog and translated it into Polish and was happy with it for about 2 hours. Suddenly all the windows in the statistics accept for right now disappeared. I have checked with Firebug and no HTML was even loaded where they were supposed to be.

The strange thing is that while this happened the dashboard widgets still worked and displayed current data.

I have downgraded to 2.8.0 and now it works fine – the moment I upgrade to > 2.8.0 same thing happens.

I have read the previous problems and I have plenty of memory (I don’t think that’s the issue).

Please help me with this issue – I’m running shared hosting so I have access to phpMyAdmin but I don’t have direct MySQL logs.

    Hi there,

I’m not sure what the problem could be in your case. Is the tracker working as expected? (in other words, do you see wp-slimstat.js included in your source code?) Also, I’m assuming you don’t see any warning message in your admin, telling you that something may be wrong with your settings.

Could you post a screenshot describing the problem? Also, is the source code of those pages completely empty?

Also, please post a description (from phpmyadmin) of your slimstat tables, and make sure that all the fields and their structure matches what is listed under the FAQs.

Let’s see if we can find out what’s going on with your install ??

    Cheers
    Camu

    Hi camu,

I watched the video. Could you try to enable WP DEBUG and see if you get any warning messages?

I just installed WordPress 3.1 on my dev box, and WP SlimStat 2.8.6, loaded some data and went to see if it worked, and it works just fine.

    What’s your PHP memory limit?

    Thanks,
    Camu

PS: thank you for willing to contribute to the project by providing a language file!

One thing I’m noticing, though, is that Slimstat is way faster in WP 3.5, and excruciatingly slow with 3.1. Could it be a max_execution_time issue?

    Any news in your issue?

    Hi @camu,

Sorry for the delay in my answers – it’s near christmass time and I’m struggling to find time to work ??

I have checked my memory_limit and it’s 192MB on the server (checked via phpinfo();) and 128MB in wp-config in WP_MEMORY_LIMIT.

I have turned on WP_DEBUG to true and it gives no error messages when it comes to slimstat – only a few Notices of undefined variables in my template – nothing more.

I’m currently unable to upgrade higher than 3.1 because I’m using plugins that crash in the higher versions ??

If you have any more ideas please let me know.

    Lol thank you!

I have the exact same issue on one of my sites, started 2 days ago. I’m running WordPress 3.5

Please go through the steps listed here above or at least answer those questions to troubleshoot your problem.

    Thanks
    Camu

I’ve had this before on another site but it just fixed itself within a day.

WP DEBUG gives no messages, php memory limit is 128MB, slimstat database size is 240KB. If you need any more let me know.
