All subpages redirect to Atom feed?!?

  • I get the weird issue that on a page where nothing changed in WordPress for months suddelnly all pages redirect automatically to an Atom Feed without any content.

    Possible changes are in providers environment.

    In try to fix the issue, I played around wit PHP version settings in my plesk. By swithching back to the older 7.1.32 it suddenly worked. Now it fails again without touching the Server …

    Tested from different locations with various browsers.

    Because if I display a PREVIEW of a different template it works in the preview window, I switched to twentynineteen and then it fails there too. So switched back to twentyseventeen.
    I tried to save the Permalink settings. Nothing changed
    I tried to disable feeds completely by adding some lines to function.php of the template as recommented by a lot of sites/posts, nothing changes.
    I updated all in WordPress to current version, no change.
    I disabled all plugins … again nochting.

    Theres no CDN involved and as far as I know no caching.

    Any suggestions?

  • The error may be in the database.

    Ehm … well … and why then the error comes and goes? Where in the database? The URLs in the menu point to the right place.

    Some Magic applied and it is working now without any changes … I switched on all plugins except the AMP Plugin, which I think is the most probable thing that may break the page.

    I am still not convinced that the error is gone … becasue it came back once …
