    Hello –

I know that this is a “Client Side Issue” but could use some help.
When the client goes to edit (new or existing) page, all the content is BOLD and ITALIC

This is only happening in chrome on the client’s computer.

When I tested at the TinyMCE website – all the content was italic

Any thoughts / pointers where to look – other than just use Firefox

    Thanks

Sounds like unclosed <i> or <b> or <strong> or <em> tag. Or the theme’s editor-style.css was edited? Maybe look in the Text editor for these tags. If not used, check editor-style.css.

Andrew – Still an issue even after update

As I mentioned originally – I don’t believe this is an issue with the plugin but rather an issue with the browser – just at a loss of where to look

    Steps to test
    1) Open up page of content in Chrome – All text Bold / Italic
    2) Open up same page of content in FireFox – Text is normal

The same thing happens on the TinyMCE website

There has got to be something in Chrome on this person’s computer – but I’m not sure what to look at

Could be that Chrome is set to always override all text to larger/bold/italic?

I have been having a similar problem, and was hoping there would be a solution here. However, I want to add that Chrome AND Opera show the same problem (but Firefox does not). I only have this problem when posting in either a page, post, or topic on my site. Reading content that I wrote displays correctly.

I have taken additional steps including trying to reinstall all my system fonts to no avail. I have tried various fixes related to corrupt fonts on my system.

Additionally, I deleted all the files for TinyMCE and reinstalled. While I had no TinyMCE installed, I still showed the same bold italic font. I now know it not to be related to TinyMCE Advanced, but somewhere else – but I do not know where to look.

I contacted and left a support message on the theme support (https://aquoid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=31909), but they said about the same thing – likely a corrupted system font or a problem with TinyMCE.

At this point, I can only assume that it’s a problem with my WordPress install, but even that was recently re-uploaded. So a step in the right direction would be appreciated.

    Notes:
    Current version of WordPress (4.2.2)
    TinyMCE (4.1.9)
    Suffusion Theme (4.4.7)
    Opera Browser (29.0.1795.60)
    Chrome (43.0.2357.81 m)
Running on Windows 7 64bit (updated to latest updates)

EDIT – It’s a problem with the theme. Ruled out other plausible and possible issues. Contacted the theme maker with further details. If you have this problem, try changing themes.

If that doesn’t work, it’s likely a problem with a plugin in the back end. Disable all plugins and re-activate one-by-one to try to ferret out the issue.

Ah, glad you found the problem.
