    Hi,
    I was looking for a means of using the links that I had in my website and I installed the Link Library plugin. After installation I clicked on the only ‘All Links’ option available on the menu which was the Link Manager one but there were no links there so I Disabled Link Manager but then I found that I had no ‘LinkS’ option on the menu so I re-enabled it. Strangely although there were no links the categories are present. After looking on this forum and at the FAQ I tried clicking REIMPORT but nothing happened, I tried setting debug and clicking REIMPORT but still nothing happened. I saw in another topic advice to post code in the functions library but the file it said to put the code in says it is deprecated. The server is running PHP 5.6.38 on WordPress 4.98 and I’d very much like to be able to access the Links that I had.

    Sorry for the long time before responding to you. Link Library does not automatically scrape your site to identify all links that it contains. Its main purpose is more to let you build out a list of links, then to display that list on a page.

    So re-importing links would not help you. That feature is only for users upgrading from older versions of the plugin.

    That being said, there is a way to import links from other pages and posts from your site by going to the Global Options section of the Link Library admin, then clicking on the Import / Export Links tab and using the importer in the bottom section of that page to Import Links from Site.

    Many thanks for the reply. I think I misunderstood what the plugin was meant to do so I decided not to use it.
