Another user reported the same problem last week.

It happens because “Duplicate Page” duplicates the FIFU metadata without creating new IDs. So changing 1 image, you change them all.

For now, I recommend you to use this plugin for duplicating posts: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicate-post/

We have contacted “Duplicate Page” developer, but we still didn’t get an answer: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/filters-and-actions/

I inform you when we get an answer.

About the posts you already have created, please do this to fix them:

1 access FIFU > Settings > Metadata

2 run Clean Metadata

3 enable Image Metadata

4 if you uses a cache plugin, purge the cache

“Duplicate Page” team has answered us. They promised to include a filter in the plugin that will allow us to solve the issue, but I still don’t know when they will do that.

For now, all we can do is keep recommending “Yoast Post Duplicate” plugin for the users that face the same problem. We’ll include this information in FIFU > Troubleshooting.
