‘All time favorites’ section

  • Hi there,

    I like this idea of having the ‘All time favorites’ at the bottom of the homepage, and that’s why I kept it. But I notice that it doesn’t really do what it says – showing the ‘all time favorites’. It is basically the 5 most recent posts in the section I selected.

    I was wondering if this is something you’d be able to help me with. I would really love to be able to have displayed the most viewed posts there.

    Thanks for getting in touch about this, and I apologize for the slow reply!

    WordPress doesn’t track views, stats, etc., so there’s not really a way to filter out the most viewed posts here, but you can always change the heading to something more suitable. ??

    I was thinking – wouldn’t it be possible to pick the posts that go in that section myself? Cause in that case, I have the stats on my most viewed posts, and that would be easy.

    Hi Ioana,

    I see what you mean…here’s the documentation on that section, unfortunately it only supports a selected category, not hand picked single posts. A workaround would be to create a category just for this section, and hand pick the posts to include in that category based on your stats.
