    Hi,

Since the recent update, my Analytics shows all traffic as coming from the U.S. (specifically, San Jose, where I believe my server is located). This is definitely in error, as it is every single user when normally only 40% of my traffic would come from the U.S. and it would be countrywide.

I haven’t changed anything on the GA side, so I believe this must be due to the CAOS update, as I had to update all my settings.

Is there a way to fix this? I guess it might be something to do with one of the privacy settings, but I’ve tried several settings with no success.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Hmm, this has to be related to Stealth Mode.

Please enable debugging, by following this how-to, let it run for a few hours and send me the debug log using this form.

    Hi Daan,

I can confirm it’s caused by Stealth Mode. I’ve disabled it and the locations are correct again. I will send you the debug log later!

    Thank you

Okay, great. Please make sure Stealth Mode is enabled when debugging is on, otherwise I won’t be able to pin down the issue ??

    Hi Daan,

The form doesn’t support either .log or .txt file formats. Can you please give me an email to send the file to, or can you change the form to accept these files?

    Thank you!

Okay, I’m sorry. That was a very sleepy moment of me. There’s something about toddlers and babies that prevent you from catching enough Z’s ??

Either way, I’ve modified the form, so it’ll accept .log files.

    Sorry for the hassle!

    Hi Daan,

    Haha, understandable!

Unfortunately, the form still appears to not work with .log files. I tried an incognito tab and it also didn’t work.

    ?

okay, that could be a bug in WP Forms. I’ll look into it later tonight.

Okay, just had a moment to test it. For some reason it’s not allowing .log files, but it does allow .txt files, so simply rename caos-debug.log to caos-debug.txt and you’ll be able to send it.

Meanwhile I’ll WP Forms’ support why .log isn’t allowed.

I’ve submitted a form. Please let me know if you need anything else!

I’ve replied to your email with some follow-up questions. I’m releasing an update tomorrow which I suspect might include a fix for this.

I found the issue today and released an update. Did it resolve your issue?
