    Hi,

I had to migrate my site to another host provider. Since I did so, my users are receiving the “Max failed logins” warning. In order to allow users to login I have to Reset Brute Force logs, and it fixes the problem for about 10 minutes, and then the problem starts again.

I already reinstalled s2member and the problem keeps appearing.

Please I need help urgently, people keep getting to my site and visitors number keep growing, I need to fix this as soon as possible.

    Thank in advance.

    Fabio

You should never have Brute Force/IP Login Restrictions turned on, unless you are 100% certain that each user will only access your site from the very same device from which they registered.

Essentially, this setting is for organizations who limit access to their own internal system so that it can be accessed only from their own fixed desktop computers.

    You’re welcome!

To be fair to you, I do think the instructions on this could be clearer.
