All woocommerce products randomly disappear from main page every couple of days

    I have an issue with my site, which is using Woocommerce with the WPClever Product Bundles plugin. 

The problem relates to this page:

The issue is that every now and again (usually every day or two), ALL products will disappear from the page, leaving only the 'Dubrek Apparel' header and nothing else. When this happens, looking at the source code shows only the header and nothing else. It's like something is stopping the products from loading.

At present, I have keyword?monitoring set up to alert me when the products disappear. I have worked with my web host and disabled ALL caching to rule out this as an issue, and yet it still remains. My webhost cannot find anything out of the ordinary on their side that could be causing this.

After ripping my hair out over this, I managed to find a workaround to get the products to reappear, which is to disable and re-enable ANY plugin. Once I?do that, all of the products re-appear.

Can you point me in the direction of how you think I could troubleshoot this issue further? Any way I can see some logs to see what is happening to the woocommerce instance when the products disappear? My monitoring gives me exact timestamps of when it happens.

  • I have the same problem with two sites. Sometimes it resolves just by logging in to admin but sometimes not and it’s resolved by saving permalinks. It’s an annoying hassle to do this daily or every other day.

    The other page is very simple and there’s only Kandence theme & Kadence blocks plugins. The other is using Avada theme and few other WooCommerce plugins. So the setup is different on both.

    At first I thought it has something to do with the setup but because it’s happening in multiple sites and not just on my sites, the common factor is WooCommerce and there’s also other bug reports of it (support message) it must be something related to it. I have also other sites with Kadence and Avada + WooCommerce and there’s no problem…

    Real head scratcher. And it’s hard to debug because you can’t login to admin.

    I understand how frustrating it can be when your products disappear intermittently. It’s great that you have a workaround, but let’s try to get to the root of the issue.

    You’ve done a great job by ruling out caching and your host as potential issues. However, it looks like a conflict might exist between the WPClever Product Bundles plugin and another plugin or your theme. The fact that disabling and re-enabling any plugin makes the products reappear suggests that there might be an issue with how one of your plugins is loading.

    Unfortunately, as this is a third-party plugin which we don’t provide support for (please see our Support Policy), it would be best to reach out to the plugin’s developers for further assistance here. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    In the meantime, temporarily disable all your plugins except for WooCommerce and WPClever Product Bundles. If the issue resolves, re-enable your plugins one by one until the issue reappears.
