Allow Admins To Activate New Accounts

  • Hi,

    I’ve setup a multisite on a server that has no ability to send emails. We want to keep things this way.

    As it stands, a superadmin can create and activate new user accounts but site admins can only create them, with the activation email being sent to the user but never delivered as there is no email client running on the server.

    Is there a way of allowing admins to create and activate users on their respective sites?

  • The New User Approve plugin might work for this.

    The plugin suggested by Joshua looks interesting, however it lacks something specified my jcpeden: it stills need to send emails to admins. Another option I’m using recently is Add Multiple User. I’m pointing you to the FAQ since it includes the option to add users without their real email.
