Allow animated GIFs

  • Hi! You’ve made a really great plugin that is so straight forward to use. Thank you!

    If possible, could you modify the plugin when you update it next to allow animated GIFs to function? They thumbnails don’t need to animate, just the full-size e-card. That would let people have some interesting things going on without needing to allow Flash.

    Hi Kathleen! Unfortunately I never got an answer on this question or was able to fix it on my own. If anyone has a solution, that would be great! If this is really important for you, as it was to me, I’ll mention that I ended up going with another e-card plugin after a LOT of research: WP-Greet

    I never found a truly ideal solution, but this one works the best for me. As long as you “uncheck” and don’t use the optional stamp you can have in the top corner of the e-card, animated GIF images will run perfectly. If you would like to see it in action, here is a link to my free e-card page where you can click on one of the images to see the animation and fill out a form to send it to someone.
