Allow bookings even after the commencement of the course?

    Firstly, I want to say that this is a great app for managing events.

    I need help with the following issue:
    I understand that once an event commences, the following message will appear: “Bookings no longer allowed on this date.”

    Is it possible to allow people to continue registering for the event even after its commencement as registrants are allowed to join our event midway?

    Sure, this is already possible: when creating/editing an event, in the RSVP settings select “Allow RSVP until xx days xx hours before the event starts/ends” (the xx are yours to complete, the starts/ends is a dropdown select).

    I’m not seeing the dropdown select for the ‘Starts/Ends’ as reflected in the image below:

    Then you are using an older version of the plugin, try updating.

    Do I have to do a manual update?

    I’m not prompted by WordPress to update the plugin even though I see that it is an older version.

    If wp is not propmpting you for an uipdate, it probably means the webserver has no access to the internet itself. So you need to do all updates as you did the initial installs.

    Hi Franky,

    Thanks for the help & the plugin is now updated.

    Is there a way to allow RSVP days AFTER the START date (not before)?
    Else I’ll have to count backwards from the End Date.

    I want to allow RSVP until 7 days after the commencement (start).

    Please advise.

    If you change the database columns rsvp_number_days and rsvp_number_hours in the tabel wp_eme_events from unsigned tinyint to just tinyint, you can use negative numbers which could be used for days/hours after the start date.
    Let me know if it works, then can apply that change for the next version.
