I’m using Hustle combined with a Forminator form to collect user feedback. I have two triggers for the popup: A button and a delay. Under ‘Behavior’, it’s set to “Do not show this pop-up across the site” after the popup is closed.

The problem I’m having is if the popup is triggered automatically after the delay, the user can no longer manually trigger it. Essentially, I only want the “Do not show this pop-up across the site” rule to only apply to the automatic trigger – not user-initiated ones. Is this possible?

Is it possible to hook into whatever js is opening the popup from the button press and, before triggering the popup, un-set the cookie?

    Hello @itsviney,

I hope you’re doing well today!

It sounds like duplicating the popup might be the easiest workaround in order to separate the closing behavior rules. So that one of the popups would be triggered by a button click, and the other one – automatically.

You can then leave “Do not show this pop-up across the site” rule only enabled for the right one, which should be triggered automatically.

Could you please check if the above setup works for you. Please let us know if you notice any issue.

    Best Regards,
    Dmytro
