Allow contributors to ONLY post, nothing else

I’m looking for a role where the person can only add new posts. I don’t want them to be able to trash all comments and all posts on the site, which seems like it’s possible.

is there anything like “contributor lite”?

then my plugins also expose “contributor” to very destructive acts (like TablePress and bbPress).

was just wondering how others have handled this.
