First – sorry if this is already covered elsewhere; I looked but couldn’t find anything.

My problem: Some of our users are pretty old and forget their passwords. So, they take a few guesses and are then locked out ( for 10080 minutes). How can I ‘re-instate’ them – that is, remove this ban period? I’d also like to reduce the ban period from one week to, say, a couple of days. I’m a newb to this plug-in, so please forgive if I’ve asked a dumb question.

Hi, you can change the block period under the IP manager:

You can also increase the limit of “transgressions” – i.e the number of times they can login with the incorrect password. They will always get a message to warn them they’re going to get blocked, perhaps you may need to communicate with them that this is going to happen.

Also, the next major release will have an option to allow a user to automatically unblock themselves, though this will be a pro-only feature.

    Cheers!
