Allow gifting of virtual/digital products

    I want to know if it is possible to allow customers to “gift” digital/downloadable products to others.
    I would need to make it so that when payment is processes, the email the buyer gets does not include the download link. Instead, there would need to be a “what email to deliver product to” box or something like that so buyers can have it delivered to someone else.
    Is it possible to do this? If so, how?

    I want to know if it is possible to allow customers to “gift” digital/downloadable products to others.

    This functionality is currently only available for subscription products through Gifting for WooCommerce Subscriptions.

    For digital/downloadable products such functionality is not yet implemented. However, there is already an idea submitted for this on our Ideas Board. I encourage you to vote on it there as that is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

    Possibly there are other third-party plugins that could allow gifting digital/downloadable products, but we are not aware of them and cannot recommend any.
