Allow html in author bio

Hello,
I’m trying to add some html in my author bio but with no success.
I’ve tried different plugins and also added the following code to my functions.php but nothing changes:

remove_filter(‘pre_user_description’, ‘wp_filter_kses’);
add_filter( ‘pre_user_description’, ‘wp_filter_post_kses’);

How can I allow html in user bio on wp 4?
