Allow Letters in Custom Order Number

    Hi there, my client asking me is there a way to customize or allowing the alphanumeric number to be input into a custom order number?

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    If you want to modify the order number then you can try to use the “Order Numbers” module. This will allow you to set Custom prefix, Date prefix, etc. Please see the below screenshot and let us know if you need further help from us.

    Hi @gravid7, yes I am aware of that, what I mean is to remove the restriction for numbers only. For example, I want to update the order number with alphanumeric instead of numbers only. I don’t want to use prefixes and suffixes. I want something to replace the generated order number with a custom one.

    Thanks for your message but so sorry for now, you can add the prefix or suffix. You cannot replace the entire number. We will check other customer’s requirement and try to include in upcoming updates ??
