    Hi,
When adding a new field in custom fields and giving it the type “checkbox” and having several “input values”, is there a way of allowing multiple value selection withing the product itself?

For example, a property may be family friendly responding to different criteria, but only some of them might be important for one family, but not the other. This means a custom field Family friendly properties with checkboxes kids pool, fence around pool, pool toys etc. In this way one will only want to check kids pool and pool toys but another 3 out of the 4…

How can I allow multiple input value selection?

    Regards,

    Jon

  • Hi Jon,

Do you mean in the back end or in the sidebar on the front end? As long as you create a “Checkbox” type custom field, then you’ll be able to select multiple items in the back end. For the front end, you’d want to make sure that, for that custom field, you have the control type set to checkbox.

    Hi,
Sorry, but in the backend it’s exactly what i’m doing, but yet when saving out of the 4 selected, only one remains selected.

    What Can I do?

    Hi Jon,

If you edit your custom field and scroll down to where you’ve added the “Input Values”, are there spaces between the values (e.g. One, Two, Three)?

If so, try removing the spaces, like this:

Let us know if you meant something else.
