Allow only certain IPs

    Hi,

    I’d like to allow only certain IP ranges. Should I config as banned the entire range of IPs of the world except the allowed range ? I’ve read this plugin is not tested with a large amount of IPs.

    e.g: If I want to allow 150.150.1.1 – 150.150.6.255, should I ban:
    1.1.1.1 – 150.149.255.255 and
    150.150.7.1 – 255.255.255.255
    ?

    PS: Modify .htaccess is not a solution (I guess) cause I’ve using a MultiSite WP

    Yea you can try that, but I did not test on that use case since it is meant to be a blacklist rather than a white list.

    No, that doesn’t work on WP mulsite.

    I’m sorry but on my way of coding, I’ve found Restricted Site Access pluging and with little modification (I’ve mentioned this plugin) it works fine for me.

    Can this plugin me modified to only allow access to visitors coming from a referred address? I am designing a site for a client who is selling an exclusive line of products he only wants available to customers of his partner companies. The thought is that those companies would place a link to his site, and only traffic coming from those links would have access. If the customers attempt to go directly to my client’s page, it would block. They would only be allowed if they clicked the link on the referring site.
    Is this possible? Do you know of any other plugins that would do the job? The one mentioned above allows traffic from an IP on which the person is browsing, not by referral.
