    Hi,

As a security measure, could the payment processor “PayPal” take care of customer’s personal info, instead of storing their info on the webstore end?

Is that what the guest checkout option is for?
Guest checkout. Allow customers to place orders without an account.
So the customer wouldn’t need an account on my site to make a purchase.

Sounds weird, but also a bit of extra security for the online store.
PayPal would have the customer’s real shipping locations etc.

Which leads me to another query; do drop-shipping API integrations like Syncee, Printful get customer’s account info from WooCommerce or PayPal?

    Thanks

    Thanks for reaching out!

PayPal offers secure payment processing and can handle customer personal information as well. You can learn more about WooCommerce PayPal Payments here as this is our recommended PayPal extension.

The guest checkout option allows customers to place orders without creating an account on your store, which can provide extra security. You can check this article to help you decide if if Guest Checkout is Right For Your Store.

Furthermore, I am also adding this support documentation about WooCommerce site and data security FAQ as this document is intended to provide a general overview of WooCommerce security, as well as answer questions you may have.

This would depend on the specific integration and how it is set up. You can suggest reaching out to the integration provider for more information on how they handle customer account information.

    Hope this helps!

@xue28 Thanks, I have setup PayPal as the payment gateway.

I have the site logins etc. fairly secure, just concerned about storing customers info in my site, but I’ll read up more.

    Appreciate your advice.
