Allow Staff to access customer portal

Is there a way to allow support staff (me) to access the customer portal? Currently shows the message “Customer Portal is only accessible by Customers. Looks like you are a support staff“.
Would be nice to see what a customer sees, and not sure why it needs to be blocked out. Sort of a pain to create a fake account and login just to get to the customer portal.
