Allow upload from backend

    Greetings for the day.

    By default file upload is possible from Dashboard>Downloads>Add New.

    If I am getting it wrong can you please provide us with some additional details about the functionality you are trying to achieve?

    Well, I would like to offer my visitors the ability to upload. So I would like to allow the roles from contributor on up the ability to add downloads BUT, I don’t want them to be able to delete existing one’s.

    As it is now, If you allow them to add they also will be able to delete their own items. However, you can use any role and capability manager plugin to control such access.
