Allow User to Customize Outbound Links

Hi there,

I’ve been looking all over the forum and google today for an answer to my question, but I haven’t been successful yet. I would like to build a site where users can register as a subscriber and when they register (I have the plugin Register Plus installed) they can choose to add a few custom website links to their profile. I would add the list of “custom” sites for them to choose from. I just want the user to be able to select the site if they would like it to appear when they’re logged in. Probably in the sidebar under where it says “Dashboard, Profile and Logout”.

For instance, I’m creating the site for a certain industry (obviously) and I’d like users to keep the site as their homepage and then use it to spring-board off into other areas they usually go, i.e. other industry sites often used, and maybe hotmail.com, msn.com, etc. Can anyone tell me if they think this is possible, and possibly point me in the right direction?
