Allow user to publish a gallery plugin without giving full publishing rights

I currently use the FooGallery plugin for my site’s galleries. My lower level editors are able to create a gallery under their current role, but are not able to publish it for use. I thought giving them the capability under the post for would resolve this, but doing so gives them the ability to publish all posts, something they should not have the ability to do.

Any idea as to how I can work around this to grant them that needed access for that particular plugin?
