Hi, great plugin and does what it says.

I am using it with a multilanguage site I have with WPML. It would be nice though, if the user would get redirected once to their language, but if they want to switch languages they could. For example, my site has 2 languages, English and Spanish, all latin american countries get redirected to the Spanish version, but once on the site if they click on the English version they get redirected again to the Spanish version. Is there a way for users to switch languages without getting redirected again?
    Thanks.

Please enable the option to “Redirect First Time Only” for this purpose.

Thank you for the prompt answer. Please explain further how does “redirect first time only” works. It redirects the user only the first time they visit the site, right? And then? It would never redirect that user again? Or is it temporary? Does it work with a cookie?
    Really appreciate it.

@rhonn Yes, it works with a cookie. This will only redirect them on the first time. The cookie will be valid for 24 hours.

    Thank you for your answer.
Sorry to continue with inquiries regarding this matter. It’s just that I’ve noticed that sometimes the cookie doesn’t expire after 24 hours. I have to manually delete cookies so the plugin redirects again to my chosen URL. I know it’s maybe a browser issue? (using Chrome by the way). I just wanted to let you know and see if the problem is on my end.

The cookie is controlled by the browser on the client side. It should expire after 24 hours. But sometimes the browser may cache it to speed up page load.
