Allow Visitors to Upload Photos to a Specific Post

  • Hi everyone,

    First of all I’d like to say its a great community that you got here. Its a great example of People helping people and I hope you keep it up!

    I’m looking for a way to allow users to upload images to a gallery within a post. I am planning on running a blog feature asking users to “Show us your *whatever*”.

    Is there anyway that I can make the post and then allow users to just upload images straight into a gallery within that post?

    Does anyone know if there is a plugin out there that will help me do this?

    All help would be very much appreciated.

    Bumping this up for any ideas…I’m looking for the same feature.

    For example, I’d like to ask my readers to “Upload a picture of your car” and then have a list of users’ cars in one post, on one page.

    Any ideas?

    Bump from me as well. I run a fan blog for a local band, and I would like for the fans to upload the images of the gigs, instead of me going to fetch them and upload them. Any clues that could help?

    I’m also looking for something like this.
    Readers upload images to a gallery category and the image appear as a post in the homepage!

    Well this solution would entail you to sign up with slide.com and upload your photos there. Then you embed the code you get from slide.com for the gallery you set up to your post. Slide.com allows visitors to your website or specific webpage to add their photos to the slideshow – which seems to me is what you want to do.
