Allowed memory exhausted

    When ever I try to make a new table via tablepress it shows this error

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1139633 bytes) in /home/XXXXXXXX/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4485

    I have wp memory limit set to 256mb in wp-config but tablepress is not working. What can I try to fix this?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    If you already set WP_MEMORY_LIMIT to 256M, then it seems that your webhost company is having additional limits, in this case about 40M, i.e. they are blocking your request for 256M.
    I can only suggest that you get in touch with them and ask them to raise the limit on the server.
