I have some problems with 2.0.7 version of nextgen

when i want to get to “other options” menu in admin area
i see Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 21006198 bytes) in /home/SERVER_ROOT/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/mvc/class.mvc_view.php on line 97

also i can’t upload photos – when i add them i see that images were uploded but after that i see that it is image that has 0x0 size

maybe there are some cache problems by i don’t know how i can clear my plugin’s cache manually

i tried the latest version of plugin (2.0.10 beta) – no luck(

    Same problem here!
Just have it since yesterday, without any change on the site.
    Any solutions?

@vasch – Generally the error message will give specific numeric values, such as what @moonvader reported.

You can them simply check under Gallery > Overview to ensure that this is actually the case.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 21006198 bytes)

This would indicate a PHP Memory Limit of 256M and the operation that in progress when the error happened wanted another 20+M (which is a lot, but unknown as to why at this time).

Using similar calculations (take the big number and divide by 1024 and then divide again by 1024 … this gets you MB) you can see what / how much you may need to have the PHP Memory Limit raised in your server settings.

Your best bet would be to take this up with your web host so they are aware of the changes to the server environment you want to make and have them provide their assistance in making those changes.

    – Cais.
